Skilled employees are essential to our success, especially when economic conditions are difficult, which is why Kaiser Partner is so committed to training and development. For example, one of the ways the company rewards special achievement is by giving employees training credits.
The company's in-house Akademie offers training programs to strengthen employees' specialist expertise and advisory skills. Content is tailored to corporate strategy as well as to individual requirements.

The positive impact of keeping IT up to date
As part of the drive to consolidate our IT landscape, the number of servers in the company network has been reduced from 70 to 9 thanks to virtualization. As a result, the server infrastructure is now much more energy efficient. We achieved a similar effect by replacing 120 individual workstation printers with 22 multifunction printers. This change has also reduced emissions of fine dust particles in our offices.

In spring 2009 offices that had previously been split across three sites were replaced by Kaiser Partner's campus in Vaduz. This is undoubtedly improving communication within the company. The canteen is a favourite meeting place on campus. The daily specials are very popular with employees, so nobody needs to go outside to eat.
The relocation has also had a positive environmental effect: reduced floorspace has resulted in lower energy consumption for heating. A switch from oil to gas has also helped cut CO2 emissions. Kaiser Partner is increasingly using energy-saving LED technology for its lighting.

Get around without having to use a car
As participants in the Liechtenstein initiative "Mobility Management at Work", Kaiser Partner encourages its employees to switch to public and alternative transport.
Since February 2009 anyone who gives up their company parking space has received the benefits defined in our mobility management guidelines. The availability of public transport is taken into consideration in each individual case.
Alongside its staff cars, the company for example provides two Fiat 500s and two electric bikes during working hours to help employees get around if they have given up their company parking space. The result of all this is that 30 percent of employees are now doing without a car.
